I am pleased to present the 2018 Hi-Crush Inc. Corporate Responsibility Report. This report reflects our commitment to the highest safety, health, environmental and ethical standards. It also reflects the culture of our company. This report will help you gain greater insight into our policies and our achievements and will give you a view to our near term objectives.
Since originally formed in 2010, we have executed on our strategy to be the leading fully-integrated, strategic provider of technology and logistic solutions to the North American petroleum industry. Our 2019 corporate reorganization and rebranding strengthens this commitment with the creation of four strategic operating units: PropDispatch, Pronghorn, NexStage and Hi-Crush.
This integrated suite of offerings, including software, arange of equipment solutions for wellsite storage and delivery of proppant, owned and operated terminals, and frac sand mining facilities, as well as third party sourcing for proppant, provides customers with mine-to-wellsite logistics solutions in all major oil and gas basins in the United States. Through our offerings, we are able to maximize efficiency and safety in the production and delivery of frac sand to our customers.
Hi-Crush Inc. is proud of the role we have played in America’s journey to energy independence and lower greenhouse gas emissions. Our obsession with efficiency helps ensure that we satisfy U.S. oilfield proppant and logistic solutions requirements with the lowest possible energy usage, as evidenced by our industry-leading energy intensity. While we are proud of what we have accomplished, we will always strive to do better. Our best-in-class team of talented, dedicated and experienced professionals are constantly striving to find ways to improve the efficiency of the proppant supply chain to reduce the overall well costs of our customers.
We are also proud of our level of involvement in the communities where we work and live. Hi-Crush Inc. will always strive to help improve the quality of life in our communities through our active partnerships with local charities, first responders and civic organizations.
